Inspired by his Lebanese Armenian heritage, Alain Mikli opened his first studio in Paris in 1978 and has fueled his line with both originality and enthusiasm. Widely referred to as "shutter shades" Mikli's line features unique colors and shapes and are favorites among European celebrities and avante-garde Americans. Since Mikli's introduction to high-end hand-made luxury eyewear, his line has been championed by celebrities like Elton John and Bono.
